Objectives of the Company
A) Main Objectives
The company shall manufacture, produce, process, market, export, distribute, lease, and sell Sozni embroidery, handicrafts, handloom, textile products, and other related goods for the benefit of its members.
The company shall establish and operate emporiums, showrooms, art galleries, exhibitions, and sales centers for displaying and marketing handicrafts, handloom products, textiles, cottage industry products, and rural artisan products.
The company shall provide training, design development, technical guidance, entrepreneurship development, and expert consultancy services to artisans and producer members engaged in the handicrafts sector.
The company shall act as a consultant and advisor by disseminating information regarding government policies, schemes, production techniques, quality standards, market trends, and pricing related to handicrafts and textiles.
The company shall facilitate procurement of raw materials, tools, equipment, and other resources required by artisan members and promote mutual assistance, cooperation, and collective growth among them.
B) Incidental and Ancillary Objectives
The company may enter into partnerships, collaborations, joint ventures, and agreements with individuals, firms, companies, institutions, and government agencies for mutual benefit.
The company may purchase, acquire, lease, exchange, or otherwise obtain movable and immovable properties, assets, rights, and businesses necessary for achieving its objectives.
The company may establish research centers, training institutes, workshops, design studios, common facility centers, and laboratories to encourage technical innovation, skill development, and product improvement.
The company may undertake research activities, organize seminars, workshops, exhibitions, conferences, and awareness programs and may grant scholarships, awards, and financial assistance for artisan welfare and development.
The company may receive grants, subsidies, donations, loans, and financial assistance from the Central Government, State Government, banks, financial institutions, trusts, societies, and other organizations.
The company may participate in trade fairs, buyer-seller meets, exhibitions, and promotional events at regional, national, and international levels for expanding market opportunities.
The company may borrow money, raise funds, issue securities, and undertake financial arrangements as permitted under the Companies Act, 2013.
The company may undertake branding, advertising, publicity, digital marketing, and promotional activities to increase the visibility and market value of handicraft products.
The company may promote rural development, employment generation, women empowerment, and socio-economic welfare of artisan communities through various developmental initiatives.
The company may undertake all lawful activities necessary, incidental, or conducive to the attainment of its objectives and the welfare of its members.
